Fire Types

Again, the fire types is one of 18 types of Pokemon. It is one of the starter types where players can choose from when they start the game aside from grass and water.
Fire types have slightly a lower number of species compared to the other types. The creators made fire types based on land animals known for their predatory instincts.

For fire specialist trainers, they need to be aware of ground, rock and water moves as they are super effective against fire. Fire type Pokemons are known for their strong offensive abilities as it is super effective against 4 types which are bug, grass, ice and steel.

Overall, despite fire types having below average defensive stats, they often tend to have good speed and high attack stats as well as looking very fierce in their designs. A prime example would be Charizard.
