Flying Pokemon

Another type of Pokemon is the Flying type. Pokemon belonging to this category are often based on either birds or insects, or possibly mythical creatures, like a dragon.

Pokemon who are of the Flying type usually have Flying as their secondary type, and this is more often normal.

Three of the notable trainers for the Flying category of Pokemon are:

• Falkner - Violet City Gym Leader
• Winona - Fortree City Gym Leader
• Skyla - Mistralton City Gym Leader

One handy trait of Flying Pokemon is that there is no effect caused by Ground Pokemon. Grass, Fighting and Bug Pokemon are not very effective against Flying Pokemon, while Electric, Ice and Rock Pokemon are super-effective against Flying Pokemon.
