Legendary and Mythical Pokemon

Variety of Legendary Pokemon from different games.

Throughout this blog page - A lot of us have mentioned legendary and mythical Pokemon that are exclusive to their own games. In anime - Legendary Pokemon are only introduced in full feature films based around them. In the anime they are talked about but rarely show an appearance. In the games - Legendary Pokemon can be caught only once per game and have no gender (unknown) with a few exceptions.

They have a major role in the games as a celestial being that is worshiped by certain groups of people. And as the protagonist you get to encounter them once for a chance to catch them.

Legendary Pokemon have abilities different to normal Pokemon in the sense that some of them are able to control time and others, weather. Some legendaries come in duos or trios - For example the Pokemon Latios has a counterpart called Latias (One in red and other blue colours) and are two different Pokemon but are tied in history and lore of the games.
