Ground Pokemon

The strongest type of an offensive pokemon is the ground type pokemon. This type is super-effective against 'Five' other different types of pokemon and this pokemon move called 'earthquake' is the strongest move in the pokemon game allowing the pokemon to have power and a '100%' hit accuracy. However, there is a disadvantage to this type of pokemon as many of them are dual rock types making it lumbering with "4x Grass and water disadvantages."

These are the notable trainers who specialise in Ground-type Pokemon:

1. Giovanni of Viridian City
2. Bertha of the Sinnoh Elite Four
3. Clay of Driftveil City
4. Hapu of Poni Island

From adjustments in Generation IV,  all physical moves were from ground type pokemon, but depending on the attack it can now also be special (special moves). Additionally, there is a total of 75 ground type pokemon that exists in the pokemon world.
