Ghost Pokemon

Ghost type pokemons are an interesting species in the world of Pokemon. Prior to changes to Generation IV, all damaging ghost type moves were physical. One unique characteristics of ghost type pokemon is that they are immune to both fighting type attacks and normal type attacks. Ghost types can are also guaranteed to run from wild battles regardless of speed.

Most of these pokemons are found in dark places as they tend to like scaring humans at night. The more scared a human is, the harder the ghost Pokemon will prank them. They are usually connected to fear and the afterlife. They can easily be found in abandoned places, cemeteries, funerals and even caves. A prime example is gengar. They also have very high special attack stats compared to other types.

One of the most famous ghost trainers in the Pokemon series is Agatha, a member of the Elite four in the Kanto region. She is 100% a tough opponent to beat in the game as well.
