Yes, indeed. Fairy type pokemon do exist! They are also one of the eighteen types of pokemon specialities within the wide universe of pokemon. Fairy pokemon are special in that they are considered to have the best defence in the game, up there with steel type pokemon. Also, they are immune to dragon type moves which make fairy pokemon stand out! However, they have weaknesses in poison and steel which is a bit of a scare due to the fairy types low defence statistics in this realm. Being super effective against dragon, fighting and dark, fairy pokemon prevail over the darkness lurking throughout the pokemon universe. Fairy pokemon are especially good in pokemon beauty contests because they are considered beautiful and pretty, which I seem to definitely agree.The Fairy type was introduced in generation VI, as well as introducing new pokemon with the Fairy type, 22 pokemon and 3 moves were changed to be of the Fairy type.
